The HSAP regularly publishes scientific and informative journals. 1981 saw the beginning of a scientific bulletin series, which, from its fourth edition in 1984, acquired the permanent title of "Epitheorisi Zootechnikis Epistimis" (Animal Science Review). This journal receives submissions from agro-specialists of original scientific papers on animal production, mainly of a research nature, which are published after evaluation by reviewers chosen by the editorial board. In 1987, a second journal series (Special Edition) was undertaken in tandem with the main one, publishing presentations, speeches and summaries of preliminary results related to animal science and agro-economics and of those presented during the annual meetings of the society.

The HSAP has edited:

• the summaries in two languages of the 36^th Annual Meeting of the EAAP which were reviewed by its special committees and distributed to the participants during registration,

• the proceedings of the Symposium "The Optimal Exploitation of Marginal Mediterranean Areas by Extensive Ruminant Production Systems" which were included in the special editorial series of EAAP numbered 83,

• the proceedings of the international symposium "Milking of Small Ruminants" on behalf of Wageningen Pers in 1999 in the EAAP editorial series numbered 95,

• Greek-Anglo and Anglo-Greek dictionary of zootechnical terminology.

• the proceedings of the International Conference "Organic Meat and Milk from Ruminants", EAAP Publication No 106, 2002.
